The Online Safety Act is a landmark legislative package that focuses on combating illegal content and certain "lawful but harmful" content online. At over 300 pages long (and with Ofcom's accompanying draft Code of Practice on Illegal Harms alone currently standing at 1,700 pages), it is certainly a comprehensive package to navigate, especially for those online services subject to Ofcom's jurisdiction for the very first time.
